Transgender Hair RemovalOne of the problems facing transgendered women is that of facial hair and the ‘five ‘o clock shadow’ which gives an unfeminine appearance. Laserase Bolton has over 15 years’ experience of treating transgendered clients.
The laser works on hair which is barely visible so there is no need to let the hair grow prior to treatment. There is minimal discomfort and the option to apply make-up after treatment.
We are registered as the preferred provider with some local PCT’s and funding may be available for this procedure although some Trusts regard the treatment as cosmetic. Each case will be assessed on its own merit.
