We can use the AFT420 Pulsed Light Treatment (IPL) for treatment of active acne. The AFT420 is a non-invasive treatment that works effectively and comfortably by setting off a chemical reaction to thoroughly attack and kill acne bacteria. Current protocol suggests that several treatments are required, an initial course would typically consist of 8 treatments over a 4 week period. Some patients experience an immediate benefit
from the treatment, in others it can take 3-4 weeks to see
an improvement. In some
instances the acne can initially appear to go worse and a
small number of people show no improvement at all. |
